"We give thanks to God always for you all, making mention of you in our prayers, remembering without ceasing your work of faith, labor of love, and patience of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ in the sight of our God and Father, knowing, beloved brethren, your election by God" ~I Thes 1:2-4~
It's important to know where you are in life, and more importantly where you're headed. Knowing your election by God, your calling, should make you move constantly toward that direction. God places people in your life to help move you along this path of faith. Remember to cover them in prayer, thanking God for them, praying a special blessing on them for standing by you, for helping you up when you feel hopeless to keep going.
It is a never ceasing work of faith to step out into God's future. It's a labor of love...keep working! Your patience of hope, your patience to see that hope, will never go unrewarded. You are in the sight of Jesus. He knows.
